adverse effects | tachycardia, arrhythmias, skin and soft tissue necrosis, severe hypertension from excessive vasoconstriction |
contraindications | pheochromocytoma, VT, VF. correct hypovolemia w/fluid replacement first! |
dosage | adults & peds: 2-20mcg/kg/min (start at 5 & titrate to BP |
