What is the division of labor? Each part of an organism has a specific job to perform.
Groups of different tissues working together to do a job are called organs
The proper order for the five basic levels of organization within living things is cells, tissues, organs, systems, and organisms.

The heart, blood vessels, and capillaries are an example of a system.
A group of organs that work together to perform certain functions is called a system.
The highest level of organization of all living things is the organism.
The epidermis that covers the leaves and stems of a plant is an example of a tissue.
