| What is wind? | Horizontal movement of air from a higher air pressure area to an area with a lower air pressure. |
| What is an anemometer? | Instrument used to measure wind speed. |
| What is the wind-chill factor? | Measure of cooling combining temperature4 and wind-speed. |
| What is a local wind? | Winds that blow over short distances. |
| What is a sea breeze? | Flow of cooler air from ovar an ocean/lake towards land. |
| What is a land breeze? | Flow of air from land to a body of water. |
| What is a global wind? | Winds that blow steadily from specific directions over long distances. |
| What is latitude? | The distance in degrees North or South of the equator. |
