mineral corticoids involved in water electrolyte balance, and indirectly manage blood pressure, primary mineralcorticoid is aldosterone
Aldosterone causes retention of sodium, causing water to increase circulating blood volume, waisting potassium and hydrogen
adrenal medulla released two hormones during stress "fight of flight", epinephrine, norepinephrine, physiological response(cv increase hr/ bp, pulmonary bronchodiation, endocrine-cause liver to release glucose for immediate energy
