These are my science vocal words for unit 2 from 2.1-2.2

QuestionAnswer
Axis of revolution Earth rotates around it's imaginary line through its center
Revolution This is the motion of one object around another
Seasons The patterns of temperature changes and other weather trends over the course of the year
Equinox the sun shines equally on the northern and southern hemispheres
Solstice At this time the area of sunlight is maximum in one hemisphere and minimum in the other
Mare A dark area on the moon still called this even though it's not a body of water
High lands The higher the altitude lighter colored areas on the moon's surface
Impact Craters Features are formed when smaller objects from space hit the moon's surface
