Position, Motion, and Speed

QuestionAnswer
Position The location of an object.
Distance The amount of space between two objects or places.
Speed The change in distance over time.
Velocity The speed and direction of a moving object.
Acceleration Any change over time in speed or direction of a moving object.
Inertia The tendency of an object in motion to stay in motion, or an object at rest to stay at rest.
Force A push or a pull.
Friction A force that works against motion.
