cell wall The cell wall is the rigid layer of nonliving material that surrounds the cell that protects and supports only plant cells.
cell membrane The cell membrane forms the outside boundary that separates the cell from its environment. The cell membrane also controls what substances enter and exit the cell.
nucleus The nucleus acts as a brain for the cell and it controls all the cells activities.
cytoplasm The cytoplasm is clear, gel like, and is always moving. Also, many organelles can be found there.
mitochondria The mitochondria convert energy from food molecules to help the cell.
endoplasmic reticulum The endoplasmic reticulum's passage ways carry proteins and other materials to one part of the cell to another.
ribosomes Ribosomes are attached to some surfaces of the endoplasmic reticulum, and function as factories that make proteins for the cell.
Golgi body The Golgi body release materials outside the cell and distribute materials throughout the cell.
vacuoles The vacuoles can be found in the ndoplasmic reticulum and store food and waste.
chloroplast Floating in the cytoplasm you will find chloroplast. Chloroplast produce energy for the plant cell from absorbing energy from the sun.
lysosomes You will find lysosomes around the vacuole. Lysosomes break down particles into smaller particles.
