smog type of pollution caused by particles in the air
What is fossil fuel? It is a material that is formed from the decay of ancient organisms and is used today as a source of fuel.
4 examples of fossil fuels bituminous coal (soft coal) anthracite (hard coal) oil natural gas
What is an aquifer? an underground body of water
What is a resevoir and why do we need them? it is an artificial lake built to store water and we need them to monitor and control our fresh water supply.
What is humus? This layer of soil is made of decayed plant and animal materials.
How do we find that absolute age of a fossil? 1. find the age of the rock it was in. 2. compare and identify the elements in the rock to determine its age.
In what type of rock are fossils usually found? sedimantary
