Precancerous Skin Lesions

What are the 2 types of precancerous skin lesions "Actinic keratoses" (AK) and "Keratoacanthoma"
Location of precancerous lesions are usually... sun exposed areas
Description of "actinic keratoses" (AC)... Described as being on the skin surface, red or brown, scaly, often tender. Occasionally flesh colored, more easily felt than seen
Description of "keratoacanthoma"... Described as typically being skin colored or slightly reddish when 1st developed, usually changes from smooth, dome shaped then within a few weeeks, grows to => 1-2cm, crater-like with outter rim of tissue, crusted interior
Most common precancerous lesion... actinic keratoses
