what is a richter scale? A scale for determining the size of an earthquake from the recording of earthquake
where is a safest place to be in an earthquake? In an open field, where nothing can fall on you.
what are the layers of the earth? crust, mantle, outer core, inner core.
Is there an 'earthquake season' or 'earthquake weather'? no.
How long do earthquakes last? Generally, only seconds. Strong ground shaking during a moderate to large earthquake typically lasts about 10 to 30 seconds.
Will the ground open up during an earthquake? no, only cracks may occur.

can we predict an earthquake? No. We cannot predict the precise time, location, and size of earthquakes.

What is liquefaction? Is when buildings sink becuase of quik sand.

what is the name of scientists who study eartquakes? geolists.
what is pangea? is a greek word that means all earth.
what is the fastest wave? p wave.
