lysosomes the wrecking company of a cell
passive transport movement across the cell membrane that does not require energy
active transport movement across the cell membrane that does require energy
diffusion the movement of materials across the cell membrane from an area of high concentration to lower concentration
osmosis the diffusion of water
facilitated diffision diffusion across the cell membrane with the help of membrane proteins
membrane proteins channel and carrier proteins
endocytosis taking large particles into a the cell
exocytosis expelling large particles out of a cell
glycosis the process in which glucose is broken down into smaller particles
fermiontation cellular respiration that does not require oxygen, 2 types 1. lactic acid fermintation 2. achoholic fermintation
