Heat,Radiant Energy,and Chemical Energy and Light

Heat The movement of energy from warmer to cooler objects.
Light A form of energy that allows you to see objects.
Radiant Energy Heat and light that can move through both air and space.
Chemical Energy Energy stored in the particles that make up food and other fuels.
Solar Energy Radiant energy from the Sun.
Opaque Objects that block light from passing through them.
Transparent Objects that allow light to pass through them.
Translucent Objects that allow light to pass through them but scatter the light.
Absorption When light hits an object it is taken in by that object.
Reflection Light bounces off an object.
Refraction The bending of light as it passes from one material to another.
Concave Lens Lens that have an inward curved shape and refracts light outward.
Convex Lens Lens that bulge outward and refract light inward.
