QuestionAnswer
What is mitosis? is the process in cell division in which the nucleus divides.
What is binary fission? is the form of asexual reproduction occuring in prokaryotes.
What is the cell cycle? are all the changes the cell goes through from one cell division to the next.
What is interphase? is the part of the cell cycle during which a cell is not dividing.
What is cytokinesis? is the division of the parent cell's cytoplasm.
What is DNA? is a chemical that contains information for an organism's growth and functions.
What is chromosomes? is the physical structure in a cell that contains the cells genetic material.
What is regeneration? is when cells reproduce.
What is asexual reproduction? is reproduction without union of individuals or gametes.
What is budding? is a process of asexual reproduction in which an organsism develops an outgrowth.
What is cell division? is the division of a cell in reproduction or growth.
What is metaphase? is when two copies of the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cells.
What is telephase? is the final stage in cell division and this is when two daughter cells are created.
What is anaphase? is when the two sides of the cells pull to seperate the chromosomes.
What is prophase? is when the chromosomes copies come together and form an X.
