What is a constellation? A grouping of stars in pattern
What is apparent magnitude? A stars brightness from an Earth perspective
What is absolute magnitude? A stars actually brightness
What is visible light? Light that people can see with the naked eye
What is electromagnetic radiation? Energy that travels in space in the form of waves
What is wavelength? The distance between one wave crest to the next
What is a spectrum? Light that comes through a prism
What is a refracting telescope? Telescopes that use convex lenses to concentrate light
What are reflecting telescopes? Telescopes that bounce light with mirrors
What are radio telescopes? Telescopes that detect radio waves in space
What is an observatory? A building with multiple telescopes
What is a spectrograph? A tool used to look at spectrums
