Grouping animals

Chapter 3: Putting Animals into Groups

Classify To find out how an animal is like or different from other animals. (Group)
Vertebrates Animals with backbones.
Invertebrates Animals without backbones.
Warm-blooded Body temperatures stay the same in cold or hot weather.
Cold-blooded Temperature of the blood does not stay the same all the time. It goes up and down depending on the weather.
Carnivores Eat other animals.
Herbivores Eat plants.
Omnivores Eat plants and animals.
