Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) Cranial Nerves (CN) + Spinal Nerves (SN)
Somatic Nervous System Control of sensory and motor of skeletal system
Autonomic Nervous System Sympathetic Division and Parasympathetic Division
Sympathetic Division Flight or fight internal organs
Parasympathetic Division Housekeeper of internal organs
Nervous Tissue is comprised of... Neurons and Glial cells
Neuron Dendrite + Cell body + Axon + Synapse
Types of Neurons Sensory neuron, interneuron, motor neuron, synapse (neurotransmitters).
Spinal Cord It is made out of grey matter and white matter. It is surrounded and protected by the meninges which contains the cerebro spinal fluid and runs the length of the spinal column.
