What is an eyewash station? Area to wash out your eyes if any chemicals come in contact with your eye

Fire Extinguisher Safety device used to put out small fires
What should you do before using glassware in a lab? Inspect for chips and cracks
Laboratory gloves Safety clothing wore on hands to protect the skin
Fume Hood Safety device used to protect from inhalation of dangerous chemicals
Fire Blanket Safety device used to put out small fires by smothering the fire
Safety Shower Area used to wash any dangerous off skin and clothing
Fire Alarm Device used to notify people in that area of a fire
How should you cut an object? Away from your body and never toward any classmates
What should you do after any lab experiment? Wash your hands with soap and warm water
What should you do before beginning an experiment? Read the entire lab procedure
Do you ever taste the chemicals in a lab? No
What should be done if you have long hair? Tie it back
Bio-hazard Container Are where any biological substances should be placed after they are used
What is the sink used for? Disposal of water, never chemicals
Where do you point test tubes when heating them? Away from yourself and any classmates in that area
How long should you flush your eyes if they come in contact with a chemical? 15 minutes and tell teacher
What should you do before preforming an experiment with electrical equipment? Check for cut or frayed wires
