combustible ? A substance that can be burned to provide heat or power.
Why is it important to wear closed-toe shoes in a laboratory? Closed-toe shoes protect your feet from spilt chemicals and broken glassware.
Fire blanket ? Its used to put out burning clothing ?
Why is it safe for you to wear gloves ? So it can prevent you to injure your self while using chemicals or broken glasses.
Why are goggles safe for you ? So that chemicals won't get in your eye.
Why should you wear shoe and not sandals ? If any glass brakes or any chemical is spilled your toes will be safe.
What should you do if any chemicals gets into your eyes ? Go to an eyewash station and flush your eyes with water for at least 15 minutes.
What are goggles ? To protect your eyes
Procedures are ? The steps to follow in an experiment.
What should you do if you do not understand a lab or you do not know how to run a lab ? Ask the teacher before you do anything.
What should you not do under a lab experiment ? Eat,drink or chew gum.
How long does your lab coat have to be ? The sleeves cannot be to long or to short.
Before you begin the lab experiment you should ? You should read all laboratory procedures.
What is an oven mitt ? Insulator worn on the hands to keep heat from contacting the hand.
Wafting ? Using your hand to bring a smell closer to your nose.
Why is it important to tie long hair ? It can get soaked in a chemical residue.
Why should you be beware of the hot glass ? It looks like cold glass.
Why should you dispose of chemicals properly ? It may help from causing damage.
After your done with the chemicals you should ? Wash your hand thoroughly.
Rules are ? They're guidelines that keeps use safe.
What are procedures ? There steps to follow the experiments.
What should you do after cleaning after the lab ? You should wash and dry all equipment and your lab bench.
Why should you not taste any chemical lab ? it may harm you or damage your skin or body ?
If any major injuries ? Flush the injury with cold water.
