What is the definition of scientific investigation? Scientific method refers to a body of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge.

why do u have to make a hypothesis? it's a place to start and you need to support it or disprove it.

Who came up with Scientific Method? No one person can be credited as the inventor of the scientific method.
