In what types of membranes is cholesterol abundant? Eukaryotic membranes
What is a purpose of cholesterol? increases fluidity
Briefly describe cholesterol structure rigid ring structure with a small polar head group and long nonpolar hydrocarbon tail
Where do glycolipids exist? In the outer leaflet of the cell membrane
Where are glycolipids created? Golgi
Name 3 types of glycolipids galactocerebroside GM1 ganglioside sialic acid
