lorraine's father is dead. Lorraine hates the fact that John lies. John and Lorraine were responsible for the party at the Pigmans.
What does Lorraine think of her mother Lorraine thinks her mother could be beautiful, but she is too full of hate.
What does John like about the cemetery and what is he trying to prove by his visits there? John likes the cemetery because it is well maintained and peaceful. He is trying to prove that there is more to death than rotting.
How does Lorraine interpret her dream about the room in which Mr. Pignati keeps his collection? Lorraine interprets her dream as an omen of death.
Why does the pigman collapse at the zoo? Mr. Pignati collapses at the zoo because it is too stressful on him losing Bobo and the stress that the kids caused him.
Meeting John for the first time, Lorraine admires his eyes
John tells Lorraine that he is a lunatic When Lorraine nags John about his smoking he says she reminds him of his mother.
Lorraine selects Mr. Pignati's name from the phonebook. Mr. Pignati teaches them a game to improve their memories.
Arriving at Mr. Pignati's house, Lorraine and John feel frightened. When Lorraine's mother talks about her patients, Lorraine thinks about how her mother would be with the Pigman.
Mr. Pignati and his wife used to eat unusual food. John punches Norton because Norton smashed Mr. Pignati's pig collection.
When Mr. Pignati dies, John and Lorraine lose their childishness.
How is Bobo symbolic in the story? He is symbolic with Mr. Pignati. They are both old, alone, need visitors, depend on others.
How is foreshadowing used to ad suspense to the story? Norton paying a visit, omens of death, Bobo not eating
How is there conflict in the story? both characters struggle with themselves with confidence. Both struggle with their parents.
What is the theme of the story? Actions have consequences, don't take advantage of people, have fun but know your limits.
