Life Cycle Changes that happen to an organism during its life.
Plant Life Cycle Stage 1 A seed is planted.
Plant Life Cycle Stage 2 The root comes out of the seed.
Plant Life Cycle Stage 3 Leaves start to appear.
Plant Life Cycle Stage 4 The adult plant is growing with water and sunlight.
What do the circles on a tree trunk mean? They tell how old the tree is.
Metamorphosis Changes in appearance.
Incomplete Metamorphosis Animal or plant does not change apperance during metamorphosis.
Complete Metamorphosis Animal or plant does change apperance during metamorphosis.
Inherit Traits that are passed down from mother and father.
What is the difference between learned traits and inherited traits? Eye color and hair color are inherited from your parents. Writing and reading are examples of learned traits.
