QuestionAnswer
Axis A real or imaginary line that an object spins around.
Apparent Motion The way something appears or seems to move.
Revolution When one object makes one complete trip around another.
Rotation The act of spinning.
Orbit The path a revolving object takes.
Crater A hollow area or pit in the ground.
Moon Phases The apparent shapes of the Moon in the sky.
Lunar Refers to anything related to the Moon.
Lunar Eclipse Earth casts a shadow on the Moon.
Solar Eclipse Moon casts a shadow on the Earth.
Sediment Bits of rock, sand, and soil.
Deposition The dropping off of sediment.
