eyepiece contains a 10x magnifying lenses you look through.
stage clips holds the microscope slide in place
body tube connects the eyepiece to the revolving nosepiece.
stage supports the microscope slide
base provides support for the microscope
Coarse adjustment focuses the image under low power. [bigger knob]
arm supports the body tube
objective lens contains the lens for greater magnification
fine adjustment sharpens the image under low or high magnification power
revolving nosepiece holds and turns the objective lenses into viewing position
disc diaphragm lets you regulate the amount of light that hits the stage
light source provides light that passes upward through the disc diaphragm, the specimen, and the lenses
