What is a compound light microscope? A microspe usually used in science classes. It has two sets of lenses and uses light to see an object
What is resolving power? The ability to distinguish between objects that are very close together.
What is magnification power? Males an object look bigger than it is.
What are the characteristics of living things? 1. Responds to its environment 2. Needs energy 3. Grows 4. Reproduces 5. Gets rid of waste that build up in its body
What are the steps in making a wet mount slide? 1. In your slide put a couple of water drop. 2. Then, put the object you are going to observe 3. After, put a couple more drops of water over the object. 4. Finally, put the cover slide over the object.
How do you determine the size of a specimen? If your area of view is around 4.5 mm in low power and your object takes around half of it, your operatin would be 4.5/2
