Adaptation A behavior or physical characteristics that allow an organism to live successfully in it's environment.
Adaptive radiation  the diversification of an ancestral group of organisms into a variety of related forms specialized to fit different environments or ways of life, each often further diversifying into more specialized types
Symbiosis A close relationship between to species where at least one benefits
Parasitism A relationship between two species where one lives on or inside another organism and harming it.
Mutualisim A relationship in which both species benefit
Commensalism A relationship in which one species benefits and the other is neither helped nor harmed.
