Chapter 12 and 13

Since the mayor was the one committing the crime, who did Lina and Doon decide to tell? The guards.
How did Lina know that Doon was her best friend? Doon hugged her after she told him her grandmother died
When Lina needed to talk to someone wise, who did she talk to? Clary
What is an egress? A way out. An exit.
What did Doon do when he couldn't sleep? He imagined himself walking through the pipeworks.
What is the main conflict in this story? The town of Ember is unable to support its citizens.
