What is a Cells? Cells are the basic unit of structure and function in living things.
What is the Cell Theory? The Cell theory forms the basic frame work in which biologists have tried to understand living things ever since.
What is the Cell Membrane? The Cell Membrane regulates what enters and leaves the cell and also aids in the protection and support of the cell.
What is the Cell Wall? The cell wall lies outside the cell membrane, the cell wall helps to protect and support the cell.
What is the Nucleus? The absence or presence of a nucleus can be used to divide organisms into two general categories.
What is the Prokaryotes Organisms whose cells lack nuclei.
What is the Eukaryotes? Organisms whose cells contain nuclei.
What is the Nuclear Envelope? The nuclear envelope contains dozens of nuclear pores, or small openings.
What is the Nucleolus? The nucleolus is the structure in which ribosomes are made.
What is a Chromosome? Chromosomes contain the genetic information information that must be passed to each new generation of cells.
What is the Cytoplasm? The Cytoplasm is the area between the nucleus and the cell membrane.
What is the Organelles?
