what is a monomer? small individual molecules that connect to make up a polymer
What is a polymer? a large molecule composed of repeating individual molecules called monomers
what is (are) the name of the substance(s) that go into a reaction? rectants
what is (are) the name of the substance(s) that are created during a reaction ? products
what is activation energy? energy needed to start a reaction
how do enzymes speed up reactions in the body? speed up chemicals reactions that lower activation energies
What is the name of the location on the enzyme where the reaction takes place? active site
what binds to the active site? substrate
what are three things that have effects on enzymes? cells,temperature and pH ranges
