What is science? Study of life, nature, and how everything works around us. Study of the natural world.
What is science limited to? What can science NOT explore? Science is limited to questions and answers that invoke natural processes. It CANNOT explore supernatural forces or causes.
What did the pre-aristotle view the world as? A stage upon which supernatural forces played. World is a reflection of the creator, imbued with motives.
What is final causation? The reason of god. Claiming that THIS was caused by THAT.
What was Plato's outlook? The ultimate truth is accessible through the human mind through reflection and reason.
What did Plato consider unreliable? Human senses.
