QuestionAnswer
Root The essential component of a word that can occur at the beginning, middle, or end.
Prefix One or more letters at the beginning of a word.
Suffix One or more letters at the end of the word.
Cells Body's basic building block.
Tissues Groups of cells that function together.
Organs Groups of tissues that function together.
Body Systems Organs and tissues together.
Organelles Structures inside the cell that have specific functions.
Cytoplasm Aqueous mass that suspends organelles
Cell Membrane Encloses the cell and forms its outer boundary.
