| weight | A measure of the gravitational force exerted on an object. |
| Volume | Measure of the amount of space an object takes up |
| Density | Ratio of a substance to the volume of the substance; often expressed as groups per cubic centimeter for solids and liquids and as grams per liter for gases. |
| Accuracy | A description of how close a measurement is to the true value of the quantity measured. |
| Precision | The exactness of a set of measurements towards each other. |
| Percentage Error | Accepted value subtracted from the experimental value divided by the accepted value multiplied by 100. |
| Scientific Notation | Way of writing numbers that accommodates values too large or small to be conveniently in standard decimal notation. |
| Significant Figures | All numbers in a number known exactly plus one final digit that is often uncertain or estimated. |
