convection the movement of matter due to differences in desity
greenhouse effect the warming of the surface and lower atmosphereof Earth
global warming a gradual increase in average global temperature
wind the movement of air caused by difference in air pressure
Coriolis effect the apparent curving of the path of a moving object
polar easterlies prevailing winds that blow from east to west between 69 and 90 latutude
westerlies prevailing winds that blow from west to east between 30 and 60 latitude
trade winds prevailing winds that blow northeast and southweast
jet stream a narrow belt of strong winds that blow in the upper troposhere
