What is the outer layer of bone that is hard and dense? Compact Bone
What is an oval projection that fits into an elliptical socket? Condyle
What is a sharp edge? Crest
What is a hollow tube made of hard, compact bone? Diaphysis or Shaft
What is a thin membrane that lines the medullary cavity? Endosteum
What is the cartilage between the epiphyses and the diaphysis? Epiphyseal Plate
What are the ends of bones? Epiphyses
What is the increasing of the angle of a joint, such as the straightening of the elbow? Extension
What is the reduction of the angle of a joint, such as the bending of the elbow? Flexion
