QuestionAnswer
Science a way of investigating everything around us in order to solve problems or answer questions.
Technology application of science to make the things we want or need.
Inference a conclusion based on reasoning
Inquiry an official investigation or question
Dependent Variable the factor you are measuring in your investigation.
Independent Variable the variable that you change during your investigation.
Hypothesis statement that can be tested.
Control used in an investigation to make comparisons
Constant variable that never changes.
Model used when you can’t have the real thing (too large, small, dangerous or expensive)
Descriptive Research describing what you have observed
Identify to recognize
Analyze to study closely
Bias showing favoritism, prejudice
