Adult Drug Dosage

GCS<15 BGL<60 D50 25gm, Aspirate blood at start and half push.
BGL<60 pt alert and able to protect airway. Glucose gel prn.
Altered pt with BGL<60 and no IV acsess. Glucagon 1mg IM.
If patient is hypoglycemic and malnourished or has ETOH abuse history. THIAMINE 100mg prior to D50.
If clinically indicated (pin point pupils, respiratory depression) Give Naloxone 2mg and repeat as necessary.
If history indicates renal insufficiency administer what? Hydrocortisone Sodium Succinate
Pt showing generalized hives, swelling, itching. Diphenhydramine 25 - 50 mg
