What is the Pyloric Sphincter? Circular band of muscle tissues regulates passage of partially digested food from the stomach to the small intestine

What is the function of the Colon? Water and ion are absorbed; indigestible waste products stored as feces
What is the function of the Duodenum? On part of the intestine
What is the function of Bile? Aids the digestion of fatty materials
What is the function of the Gallbladder? Storage place of the bile
What is the Pacreas? Large digestive gland that aids in digestion by secretion
What is the Isle Of Langerhans? Produces insulin and glucagon

What is the function of the Spleen? Produces red and white blood cells; stores and destroys senescent (aging) red blood cells.
What is the function of the Fat Bodies? Stringy thing that holds eggs.

What is Cutaneous respiration? Respiration by skin
What is Buccopharyngeal respiration? Lining of mouth and pharynx
What is the Aveoli? Area where gas exchange happens

What is meant when the cardiovascular system is described as a Double System? Right and Left

What is the Urogenital System? The urinary and reproductive systems

What is the function of the Adrenal Gland? Secretes adrenaline
What is Adrenaline? Increases heart rate, raises blood sugar levels, helps body react to stress
What is the function of the Testes? Produces sperm
What are the Vasa Efferentia? Tubes that connect testes th kidneys
What is the Ostium? funnel-shaped thing found at end of an organ.
What is the function of the Hepatic Veins? Collect blood from spleen
