RNA vs DNA ribose sugar, single strand, and Uracil instead of Thymine.
Messenger RNA molecule that carries copies of instructions for the assembly of amino acids into proteins from DNA to the rest ot the cell.
ribosomal RNA type of RNA that makes up the major part of ribosomes, combined with proteins to from ribosomes
Transfer RNA type of RNA molecule that moves amino acids to ribosomes during protein synthesis
Transcription RNA polymerase binds DNA and seperates the DNA strands together
Translation the decoding of an RNA message into a polypeptide chain.
RNA polymerase it uses one strand of DNA as a template for nucleotides to assemble into an RNA strand.
Roles of proteins in Cells Structrual, makes up parts of cells- Functional, uses enzymes, carrier molcules, and recognizes cells.
Gene A segment of a DNA molecule that carries the code for the synthesis of a particular polypeptide.
codon consists of three consecutive nucleodies that specify a single amino acid that is added by the polypeptide.
Anticodon group of three bases on a tRNA molecule that are complemenary to an mRNA codon
