| Antiphagocytic | inhibites phagocytes from ingesting bacteria and forign materials |
| Antipyretics | fever reducing drugs |
| Antitoxin | Usually antibodys that attack the toxin as a forign protein with toxic properties and neutrilize it |
| Arthralgia | noninflamitory joint pain |
| Arthritis | Inflammation of the joint; leading to pain |
| Asplenia | No spleen; makes them more susceptible to disease |
| Ataxia | lack of coordination of muscle movements |
| Atrophy | Wasting of tissues, organs, or of the body |
