Adrenal Gland located above the kidneys, produces numerous hormones that impact our development and growth, affect our ability to deal with stress, and help to regulate kidney function
Pituitary Gland Located at the base of the brain, secretes hormones which govern the functions of the other endocrine glands, thus, its name 'master gland', controlled by the hypothalamus they control the endocrine system
Pineal Gland in the vertebrate brain, it produces a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions
Hypothalamus Gland a region of the brain that controls an immense number of bodily functions such as blood pressure regulation, hunger and salt cravings, feeding reflexes, thirst, body temperature regulation, hydration, heart rate, etc.
Thyroid Gland a butterfly-shaped gland in the lower, front part of you neck, controls your metabolism and keeps your body functioning properly
Parathyroid Gland located next to (and sometimes inside) the thyroid gland, controls calcium within the blood
Thymus Gland located in the neck area, developing and improving a child's immunity system, and produce and process lymphocytes (white blood cells)
Pancreas located behind the stomach and above the small intestines, makes enzymes and hormones necessary for the digestion of food
Ovary produce eggs and secrete female sex hormones
Testes produce sperm cells and secrete male sex hormones
