introduction the civilization of greece flourished between 750 and 338 b.c.e. greece is in southern europe
isolated communities and the difficulties of travels comminities in ancient greece were isolated from one another because of the high mountains it was also difficult to travel
farming in ancient greece most people in ancient greece survived by farming but farming wasnt the easyest thing to do
starting colonies if the people wanted to feed their family then they had to start colonies
trading for needed goods besides starting new colonies, many greek settlements on the mainland used trade to get the goods they needed
chapter summery this chapter was about how the greeks settled in isolated communities because of their countrys mountainous geography.
