Electrical Circuits Transforms electricity into different types of energy. To make an electrical circuit you need a source of electricity, a conductor of electricity (such as a wire), and a device that uses electricity.
Electrical Energy Electrical energy can be transformed into sound energy in an electric circuit if a bell, buzzer, radio, or TV is added to the circuit.
Magnetism Magnets occur naturally in certain substances. A magnetic substance will produce a magnetic field that can attract or repel certain objects.
Electromagnets Electromagnets are an important part of generating electricity for everyone.
Generator A generator is a device that produces an electric current. Inside a generator is a coil of wire. A iron core is rotated inside the coil of wire using a turbine. A turbine is a fan blade that is turned by wind, water, or steam.
Electric Motor An electric motor transforms electrical energy to kinetic energy. In an electric motor, an electromagnet makes a coil of wire spin.
