Moisture in the Atmosphere

| Relative Humidity | Measure of the water vapor in the atmosphere (in percentage) |
| Dew Point Temperature | The temperature at which the air is completely saturated with water vapor (Relative Humidity 100%); Condensation occurs below this temperature. |
| Dew | Water that condenses on plant surfaces. |
| Frost | Dew that freezes on plant surfaces. |
| Fog | A cloud that forms on the ground. |
| Cloud | Water vapor that condenses into liquid in the sky. |
| Precipitation | Water that returns to Earth's surface as rain snow, sleet, hail, or freezing rain. |
| Cirrus clouds | Thin, feathery, high altitude clouds made of ice crystals. Fair weather clouds that tell us that bad weather is coming. |
| Cumulus | Puffy fair weather clouds |
| Cumulonimbus | Thunderstorm clouds; vertically stacked clouds |
| Stratus | Long, stretched out clouds |
| Stratonimbus | Long layered clouds that bring steady rain. |
| Hail | ice pellets, 5mm in diameter that grow in layers in cumulonimbus clouds |
| Sleet | Precipitation that freezes as it falls. |
| Freezing Rain | Precipitation that falls as a liquid and freezes AFTER it hits surfaces. |
