What are stomata? Stomata are little openings on the underside of the leaf that let in and out substances such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, and oxygen.
What is the formula for aerobic respiration? C6 H12 O6 + 6O2--- 6CO2 + energy
What are producers? Organisms that make their own food from sunlight.
What are consumers? Organisms that prey on other organisms.
What are predators? They eat prey. (meat)
What is prey? They are eaten by bigger or stronger creatures and are meat.
What are herbivores? They eat only plants.
What are carnivores? They eat only meat.
What are omnivores? They eat both plants and meat.
What are the levels of consumerism? Producer-1st level consumer-second level consumer-tropitary.
Mutualism Both species benifit.
Parasitism One benifits while the other is harmed.
Commensalism One benifits while the othe is unaffected.
Insectalism When one benifits and the other is killed.
What are niches? How an organism obtains the basic needs for life and reacts to to its enviroment.
Food web An entire ecosystem linked by consumerism and made up of food chains.
Food chain Oe part of a food web.
