Behold, you (s) are being sought Ιδου, Ζητή
by (ύπο) your mother and your brothers ύπο της μητρος και των αδελφων σου
And the men (husbands) were walking και οί ανδρες περιεπατουν
in the cities with their wives εν ταις πολεσιν συν ταις γυναιξιν αυτων
he commanded [Therefore] his own daughters παρηγγειλεν ουν ταις ιδιαις θυγατρασιν
to prepare (aorist inf.) the fish (sing.) for the king έτοιμασαι τον ιχθυν τώ βασιλει
I (on the one hand) baptize you (pl.) with water εγω μεν βαπτιζω ύμας ύδατι
but {that man} (on the other hand) will baptise us with power. εκεινος δε βαπτισει ήμας δυναμει
These are the men who say... ούτοι εισιν οί ανθρωποι οίτινες λεγουσιν
they say there is no resurrection. (resurrection not to be) λεγουσιν αναστασιν μη ειναι
I [For}] from man did not receive it εγω γαρ παρα ανθρωπου ου παρελαβον αυτο
...but by (through) revelation. αλλα δι' αποκαλυψεως
Do you (s) wish for faith and a good conscience? θελεις πιστιν και αγαθην συνειδησιν;
And there will be a worse time... και εσται χειρων χρονος
...of judgment and tribulation. κρισεως και θλιψεως.
the disciple [For] does not love father and mother ό γαρ μαθητης ου φιλει πατερα και μητερα
more than (above) me. ύπερ εμε
Why don't they walk (δια) δια τί ου περιπατουσιν
according to the traditions of the priests. κατα τας παραδοσεις των ίερεων
that man [But] does not have forgiveness forever (never has forgiveness) εκεινος δε οθκ εχει αφεσιν εις τον αιωνα
