STANDARDS OF NURSING PRACTICE Focuses on the provider and defines competent care along with the activities and behaviour needed to achieve positive patient outcomes (Focus is on the Nurse)
EVIDENCED BASED PRACTICE Conscientious, explicit and judicious use of theory-derived, research-based information in making decisions about care delivery to individuals or groups of individuals. It is defined as the conscientious use of current best evidence in making decisions.
