What is a gene? It is a unit of heredity that occupies a spesific location on a chromosome and codes for a particular product.
What is heredity? Its the passing of genes from parents to offsprings.
What are alleles? They are alternative form of a gene for a specific trait or gene product.
What is a pedigree? Its a diagram of a family relationship that includes two or more generations.
What is phenotype? It describes tha actual characteristic that can be observed.
What is genotype? Its thename for the genes an orginism has.
What's a recessive allele? It's one that is expressed in the phenotype only when the two copies of it are present on the homologs.
What is a dominat allele? It's one that is expressed in the phenotype even if only one copy is present in the genotype-that is, even if the other allele is an alternative form.

What is a genome? It is all the genetic materials in an organism.
