Cementation | The process in which dissolved minerals crystalize and glue particles of sediment together |
Clastic Rock | Forms when rock fragments are squeezed together |
Organic Rock | Forms where the remains of a plants and animals are deposited in thick layers |
Chemical Rock | Forms when dissolved minerals in a solution crystalize |
Coral Reef | Skeletions of coral animals that grow together to form a structure |
Foliated | Metamorphic rock with grains that are arranged in parallel layers |
Non-foliated | Metamorphic rock with grains that are arranged in random order |
