Orbit | The path of revolution |
Solar Eclipse | Where the moon blocks the sunlight |
Lunar Eclipse | Where the earth blocks the moonlight |
Summer Solstice | Tilted to the sun |
Winter Solstice | Tilted away from the sun |
Vernal Equinox | When night and day are equal in spring |
Autumnal Equinox | When night and day are equal in fall |
Tilt | Causes seasons |
Latitude | How far north or south from the equator |
Lunar Cycle | Moon's revolution around earth; 1 month |
Illuminated | Lit up |
Spring Tide | The tide where the difference between high and low is the greatest |
Neap Tide | The tide where the difference between high and low is the least |
