earthquake vocalulary

Ecipter point on earths surface directly above an earthquakes focus

Rifts long cracks or tissue or though that forms between tectonic plates moving apart plate boundries
Sesmic Safe describes the ability of structures to stand up against the vibrations caused by an earthquake
Surface Waves are the slowest and largest of the sesmic waves and they cause most of the destruction
